Today's 1/2 day trip had to be the ugliest day I've spent on the water in a long, long time. Boat control was a disaster with strong northeast winds, and the cold rain didn't feel too good dripping down the back either. We left the Gladstone Yacht Harbor shortly after 6:30 a.m. and headed to the north end. Fortunately I had a couple of great guys along willing to help run all the lines, etc. We certainly didn't knock em' dead today, but the guys did end up with a nice limit of fish for the camp fish fry. All of our fish came on Walleyes Choice (http://www.walleyeschoice.com) harnesses trolled behind bottom bouncers. We tried a variety of colors today, but I-48, I-42, I-79, and I-76 were the best. We caught several fish suspended today, and we had several nice fish come un-buttoned. Bite was subtle again, with most fish just barely hanging on, not pulling the board back at all, had to feed it to them a little before tightening up to the fish. By the time our 5 hrs was up the wind was really kicking up it's heels, and trying to go .8 to .9 mph was getting a little tough, even with drift socks out to slow our troll. Here's some pictures of today's fish along with a little video as well. Weather permitting we'll be back at it again tomorrow, good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.

Says a lot about your skills as a charter captain. To be able to put your guys on a nice limit in conditions like today is definitely a job well done. Must have felt good to dry out and warm up. Had to feel like November again!

Hey Kenny, I see you are putting your guys to sleep again, ha ha!!!

Good Job on the fish in less that ideal conditions.
