Thanks to Jim Bender and cousins from Iowa for fishing with us on the Sunchaser. Jim originally booked two days of Walleye fishing but weather would not permit and we fished one day. Jim's cousins come in from Iowa most every year an wahta better way to spend the day then on Lake Erie. Jim, Mike and I worked together for 30 years then JIm and I retired in 2006. The crew 4 total arrived early and were were able to get head start on most of the fleet to arrive at our hot spot with not many boats out fishing yet. We set up drift fished with gold blade weapons tipped with crawlers and instantly started catching nice 3 lb. Walleye's. We had 7 nice fish on our first drift then the fleet came in and shut down the bite with all the boat traffic. We moved around to a mor open area and picked a few more fish. We hung in there moving around and when the day was over we boxed their limit with the help of a late morning switch to trolling as the wind died. Their big fish bet was won by Jim Bender at 24.3 in 5lb. Thanks again for your continued loyality and we hope to see you again next year. Capt. Mike & Capt. Ron
