Dove Mendota last night in the mud flats (actually silt flats) out from Marshall Park. Water temp for the first few feet was 71°f, in 30 FOW it was 54°f. Found a boat with the side scan and dove on that (old aluminum, probably
12'). Other then that a couple of homemade anchors and a couple 9" smallmouth bass that followed one of us for a while. No sharply defined thermocline yet, but could feel the water temp change after the first few feet. LOTS of algae particles in those first few feet, less on the bottom, but clarity was pretty bad. rick
