I'm struggling to get some of my leo cranks tuned to troll faster..I've got a few that seem to run awesome and some that i can mess with forever and not get them right. Most are shayla shad and leo minnows. I've tried bending the duo lock snap and the metal lip, and also messing with the hook eyes... Anything else i can do to get them to run good? Thanks!

Sorry ARK, I just do not troll them enough to know the "ins and outs" of tuning them. It sounds like you have pretty much done what I would do to get them tracking straight.

That could be why no one has replied to your post??

Its no problem. Actually got a pm from a gentlemen to try loosening the front screws and then letting the lip set itself. This is actually the opposite of what i did, i tightened them way down to keep them from moving. I'm gonna give a shot next time i'm out.

The first thing I would do is look closely at the 90 degree cross bend in the Lip.If the bend is not square to the lure body it will run off to one side or the other.Take the lip off and flaten and rebend the lip in a vice with a straight cross bend 90 degree and put it back on.If the crankbait only runs off to the side a little you could add a splitring to the pull point and this may correct the poblem.
