It's great to feel summer temperatures - finally! I think the fish have really appreciated the final arrival of summer as the bite has been very good as of late. Walleyes have been snarfing up nightcrawlers both on jigs and when retrieved behind spinner rig presentations. As for the muskies, the topwater bite is finally starting to get going, and Topraiders have been working well the past few days. In addition, fish are starting to move on big "double 10's" such as the DC-10, and Mepps Musky Marabou. We've also caught a few fish suspended on both Shallowraiders and Depthraiders. Looking at the forecast, the bite should really continue to be solid in the upcoming days!
