At least the rain is gone for a while. We are still water logged.
Still moving fish on weed edges from EXO's. Medussa, Meat and Potatoe spinnerbaits. The only ones that bite seem to be little ones. The bigger fish just wont commit. The water temp is 74-77 and the south end is a little darker and the north end a little clearer. Have moved fish on both ends.
I want to clarify this deal on the dead fish issue. The water temp is really not hot enough to be deadly on the fish. If it was I would not posting reports on fishing right now. People always have their thoughts and that is fine just like I have mine but that does not mean that either one is a golden rule. Usually when the water is a steady 80 I'm done until fall. There could have been a lot scenarios on the big fish that came into play.
We don't have but just a few days left to fish let's just enjoy it. If the heat starts like it starting to by this weekend it will be over any how. Good luck if you go out this week.
