I had "Pistol" Pete Hanson and his son Phil out in the morning and we didn't see jack squat all morning. i had a blast with those two knuckleheads but the fish were definitely not in the mood. Sometimes when a front is coming in you see that. They wait until the front is almost on top of you before hitting any baits.
I took my dad out for a little father's day fishing after some Famous Dave's brunch in the afternoon. He boated a 34 1/2 inch fish and had one other follow the same size. Rachel also had one follow from a bigger fish. Looked to be in the 46 to 47 inch range. We had all our action when the storm came in and then nothing so we came in early. The bigger fish are definitely going now. Matt Dolezal had a fifty inch class fish hooked on a Pacemaker and lost it two days ago. I have heard of several other good fish caught and lost also.
