After hearing the Walleye turned off and were no longer hitting 1/2oz. Daredevils in 18" of water, I decided to go check the Can for some Salmon this past weekend.
Fished around the Can and across to the Shoals and back on Saturday morning going 1 for 3 with the 1 being a nice Walleye on a half core of copper followed by a Moonshine Spoon.
Staying nearer the Can on Father's Day morning yielded a wonderfully fat and happy 26" Brown from 100' of water that I had the pleasure of watching my 11yr old daughter catch. The picture of her with it was the nicest gift of all. It also took a Moonshine following a half core of copper.
When all was said and done, we did just fine for marking VERY FEW scattered fish and EVEN LESS bait over the course of the weekend.
