Wow, time flies, time to post a fishing report. Water levels are back to full pool, mayflys are everywhere, but the good news is that the walleye and other species are still active. Invasion jigs tipped with extra large fatheads, 1/2 crawlers, and leeches are your top choices, some anglers are also picking up some nice fish by trolling crankbaits and others are doing decent rip jigging plastics. Wind blown shorelines, heavy wooded areas in shallow to mid depths, and weeds, cabbage and pencil weeds are also producing some nice fish, walleye, perch, and pike. Weedless jigs or long shank weedless hooks are a must.
