    Default 9/29 Toothy Critter Hunt

We chased the toothies (musky/pike/) for 5 hours yesterday morning and couldn’t get anything going at all. Conditions seemed absolutely perfect (minus the East wind) but we still got our butts kicked.

We saw several PA state championship fishing finalists out and about as well. Water temps and clarity were great and the water was a little low for this time of year.

    Good luck and stay tuned!

To be 100% accurate, we were using downsized musky baits with the hopes of drilling a big smallie or walleye in the process. FYI, 4 of the 5 largest walleye we ever caught (over 12#) were in Oct/Nov/Dec. (The 5th one was on a nite trip in August.)
