    Standing in the kitchen today, looking down toward the dock, I see what looks like a garbage bag sitting there. Grabbed my binocs, and this is what was there. A snowy owl. Had to really zoom in the camera, so pretty crappy picture. When I tried to get closer........outta here!

    On that note,I saw a horny toad in Illinois,but guess thats not uncommon there.

    I know you guys are tripping over these things every day. But this is the first time in 18 years that I have seen one here. Even more rare than the snowy owl.
